Let's Have a Pizza Party...

I've been mulling around the idea of creating a pizza and fitness blog for some time now.

I eat a lot of pizza. I take a lot of pizza pictures (my boyfriend has gotten to the point where he doesn't even try to attempt eating before a full photo session has taken place). And I finally got to the point where I realized...what good am I doing stuffing my face without sharing the blissful oooey, gooey, cheesy delights I've been devouring all these years? 

So, after two IPA's at a friends birthday gathering (and sadly no pizza), someone else came up with the idea to create "ElisaEatsAPizza" as a website, and I was sold. I bought the domain name on the spot and am ecstatic to start sharing all my pizza finds. 

My friends ask me my favorite pizza place all the time. Honestly, I never have the same answer. It depends on the mood, it depends on the company, it depends on the night. I think I love sharing pizza more than any other food because everyone loves it (and if you don't I understand you the least) and it's a shareable experience ...unless you are like me and can eat an entire pizza alone. 

I'm hoping to write enough reviews so that others can enjoy a slice or two at some of the best (in my opinion) pizza joints in San Diego County. 

Lastly, I want to incorporate my love for fitness into this blog. I'm also a strong believer in using food as fuel and leading an overall healthy life style. Which is why I'll also be highlighting some of the workouts I do on a regular basis (swimming, biking, running, weights and other activities) to help give you ideas on different ways you can enjoy that slice and then go do something with those extra carbs.

So shall we get cheesy together?
